Highlights:
Designed for teenagers looking to take the “next step” into young adulthood by helping with resume building, the employment application process as well as interview techniques and job readiness. This Intern Camp helps teens learn how to express themselves, come together for a common cause and become active and informed citizens. We will help teens prepare for life by teaching them professional skills that will follow them throughout their careers. Some exciting aspects of this summer experience will include dining out, sleepovers and fund raising and an end of the year field trip. Teens wil enjoy normal camp activities such as swimming, field trips, baseball games and much more. Interns will have the opportunity to be involved with daily schedules of Y camps as well as coordinating “Friday Talent Show” performances. Interns will become involved in our Y Mentoring Program that gives leadership and mentoring roles with other campers.
Note: There is a POTENTIAL for the camper to earn up to a $50 stipend every 2 weeks based upon good works.
